As a Vancouver birth photographer, I have captured many beautiful moments during births, but nothing quite compares to photographing a surprise home birth. A doula client called to let me know they were ready for me to come take photos of their birth. The birther was transitioning, and I knew I had to act fast to capture the last hour of their birth.
